Hoshiarpur - Under the leadership of the head of Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplantation Society and eminent social worker Sanjeev Arora, flex boards are being installed in various colleges of the city to make students aware about organ donation. It has also been installed on Phagwara Road. On this occasion, College Principal Madam Savita Gupta Ari and Society Chairman JB Bahl were specially present.

Mr. Arora appealed to the students and staff to create awareness at their level about eye donation as the number of people suffering from corneal blindness is very high. Therefore, more and more people should be associated with this campaign and come forward to take a pledge to donate eyes after death. 
Mr. Arora said that the society has provided relief to more than 4100 people so far and 24 bodies have been sent to various medical colleges for research and so far 179 people have also registered for posthumous donation. Senior member Mr. Shakha Baga had a special contribution in getting the flex board.
On this occasion Mr. Savita Gupta Ari praised and thanked the society for this work and said that brightening someone's dark life is the greatest virtue. He urged the students to join this campaign of donating eyes to their surroundings, neighborhood and relatives so that light can be brought to the people who are forced to live a life of darkness and he also extended all possible support. promised to give
