Mr. Arora appealed to the students and staff to create awareness at their level about eye donation as the number of people suffering from corneal blindness is very high. Therefore, more and more people should be associated with this campaign and come forward to take a pledge to donate eyes after death.
Mr. Arora said that the society has provided relief to more than 4100 people so far and 24 bodies have been sent to various medical colleges for research and so far 179 people have also registered for posthumous donation. Senior member Mr. Shakha Baga had a special contribution in getting the flex board.
On this occasion Mr. Savita Gupta Ari praised and thanked the society for this work and said that brightening someone's dark life is the greatest virtue.
