
Khalsa College Mahilpur starts two courses in Food Production, Bakery, Cooking and Catering Management.
Hoshiarpur- In an effort to connect students with employment-focused and skilled courses along with academic studies of various courses, two new certificate courses related to Food Production and Catering Management have been started at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur.

Talking about this, the Principal of the college, Dr. Parvinder Singh, said that with the support of Babu Ji Hari Singh Bassi Entrepreneurship Center running on the college campus, the college has started three-month certificate courses in Food Production and Bakery and Certificate Course in Cooking and Catering Management, in which students have started admission from this session at very low fees.
He said that students after 10th and 12th can take admission in both the above certificate courses and students pursuing 12th and undergraduate courses in the college can also take admission in this course along with their studies.
He said that separate arrangements have been made for the study and practical of the above courses and expert staff has also been recruited. He appealed to the students that such skill-focused courses will not only make the students' academic studies but also employment-focused and will also connect them with new employment opportunities in the food production industry.
He appealed to the students to contact the admission and counseling cell running in the college for admission in the above courses. On this occasion, Chief Instructor of Food Production and Bakery Department Arun Mahajan, Director of Hari Singh Bassi Entrepreneurship Center Pritpal Singh, Prof. Davinder Thakur were also present.
