Chief guest MLA Vinod Bhayana hoisted the flag at the sub-division level Independence Day function in Hansi.

Hansi: – 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Hansi. Sub-division level Independence Day function was organized at the local Government College. MLA Vinod Bhayana was the chief guest in this. He hoisted the flag and took the salute of the parade. Earlier, he paid tribute at the Shaheed Smarak and also garlanded the statue of the martyrs in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Amit Yashvardhan, SDM Rajesh Khoth and many dignitaries of the area also paid tribute.

Chief guest MLA Vinod Bhayana, while wishing the sub-division residents a Happy Independence Day, said that today is the day of the sentiments of crores of Indians, countless heroes of Mother India sacrificed their lives and gave freedom to the country. The nation will always be indebted to the immortal martyrs who died for the freedom of the country. He said that the Central and State Governments have always given priority to the honor and well-being of the families of the martyrs.
A dependent of the jawans who died while protecting the country is being given a government job on compassionate grounds. From October 2014 to June 2025, dependents of 410 martyrs have been given jobs. He said that the revolutionary changes and unprecedented successes that the countrymen have experienced in the last 11 years are the result of the bold and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Crores of Indians have been empowered through schemes like PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. These initiatives have given the weaker sections of the society an opportunity for equality, respect and self-reliance.

Multipurpose hall to be built soon in Hansi:
Chief guest MLA Vinod Bhayana further said that in the coming time, many big development projects will be completed in Hansi constituency. Which will change the picture of Hansi. He said that a multipurpose hall equipped with modern facilities will be built in place of the old tehsil at a cost of about Rs 11 crore. Money has been released by the government for this. Construction work will be started soon.
The process of tender allotment is going on for the construction of Hansi Tosham Road. Very soon the construction work of this road will be started. The civil hospital will be made of 100 bed capacity. He said that the work of expansion of Hansi railway station has started. At a cost of about Rs 18 crore, many such works will be done at the station which will provide modern facilities to the passengers and many long distance trains will also stop here.
He said that the master plan for building a police line in Hansi has been approved. He said that to fulfill the purpose of providing adequate clean drinking water to the citizens, a 28 km long pipeline will be laid from the Bhakra Canal.
The construction work of Hansi Bhiwani new road is almost complete, this road will be inaugurated soon. The sub-division administration is running the 'Mhari Hari Bhari Hansi Abhiyan' to make Hansi green, under which a target has been set to plant 10000 saplings. So far more than 8000 saplings have been planted. In the Independence Day celebrations, the chief guest honoured freedom fighters, families of martyrs, democracy fighters and their families, and social workers, officers and employees who have done commendable work in various fields. In the celebrations, cultural teams from various schools of the area gave cultural presentations based on the spirit of patriotism. Chief guest MLA Vinod Bhayana presented a cash prize of Rs 21000 to the students who participated in the celebrations. On this occasion, Municipal Council Chairman Praveen Elawadi, Rajpal Yadav, MLA Vinod Bhayana's sons Sahil and Anshul Bhayana, Dinesh Bhutani, Tanuj Khurana, Sukhwinder Jakhar, Neha Dhawan, Shyam Khanda, Subhash Yadav, Surjeet Sarpanch, Rajesh Dhamana, Rajmal Verma, Prem Verma, Ashok Dhaliya, Vinod Saini, Narendra Malik, Goldie Saini, Manjeet Jangra, Puneet Madan, Ramesh Nayak, Mukesh Nyoliya and many other dignitaries and administrative officers and employees were present.
