Chandigarh:- SGPC is the apex organization of the Sikh community, therefore, the political domination under which the apex organization is being undermined is making every Sikh's hearts ache today, and the Nanak Leva Sangat, the Panth will not tolerate the political use of Guru's Golak.
While making public the details with big evidence and facts of the use of Sangat's money for political purposes, senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal Sardar Gurjit Singh Talwandi blasted the facts along with the explanation presented by SGPC President Sardar Harjinder Singh Dhami. Sardar Gurjit Singh Talwandi presented facts one after the other and made public the mutual collusion between SGPC President and Sukhbir Badal.
In his press conference, Sardar Gurjit Singh Talwandi said that the announcements of the core committee meeting of the Sukhbir faction were implemented through resolutions passed in the SGPC's in-house committee.
Apart from this, Sardar Talwandi, while citing the fact that the Guru's Golak was used to fulfill the announcements made during Sukhbir Badal's visit to the flood-affected areas, said that after Sukhbir's announcement, the staff of the Guru Ghar under the SGPC of that area used to become active.
The list released by the SGPC itself shows how much money was spent, but the SGPC did not share any information about which supplies or diesel this amount was spent on.
A clear example of political compensation under this expenditure is Sukhbir Badal's visit to Sangrur, where Sukhbir Singh Badal announces, assigns his constituency in-charge to distribute diesel and orders are issued by the SGPC to release diesel from the concerned Guru Ghar to fulfill Sukhbir's announcement.
Sardar Gurjit Singh Talwandi questioned SGPC President Sardar Harjinder Singh Dhami and said that Dhami Sahib gave information about the expenditure of Rs 77 lakh today, while the Sangat wants to know on which supplies, diesel or other relief materials this Rs 77 lakh was spent, when it was spent, and should have released the figures.
He said that just as the political fulfillment in Sangrur is public today, similarly the fear of such political fulfillment being revealed in the coming days has started haunting the SGPC President. He said that today President Dhami Sahib is under political pressure, due to which the biggest organization is facing a big blow.
