Case of fraud worth crores with Canada's famous FYI Media Group Private Limited : FIR registered in Jalandhar

FIR lodged against Chandigarh resident Surinderpal Singh and Gurinder Kaur at NRI police station Jalandhar Complaint UID number 2409120, dated 05-09-2024, Sukhwinder Singh Sandhu son Chanchal Singh Sandhu resident Maldi, District Jalandhar, currently resident of Canada had made the said application to Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, NRI Affairs and Administrative Reforms Minister Punjab. By whom the said application was sent to the office of Hon'ble Additional Director General of Police, NRI Wing Punjab, Phase-7 SAS Nagar, for further action.

Complaint UID number 2409120, dated 05-09-2024, Sukhwinder Singh Sandhu son Chanchal Singh Sandhu resident Maldi, District Jalandhar, currently resident of Canada had made the said application to Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, NRI Affairs and Administrative Reforms Minister Punjab. By whom the said application was sent to the office of Hon'ble Additional Director General of Police, NRI Wing Punjab, Phase-7 SAS Nagar, for further action.
The said application was forwarded by the office of Hon'ble Additional Director General of Police, NRI Wing, Phase-7, SAS Nagar to the office of Assistant Inspector General of Police NRI Wing, Punjab Jalandhar for verification. The Hon'ble Assistant Inspector General of Police, NRI Wing, Jalandhar marked it to Deputy Captain Police NRI Wing, Punjab Jalandhar for investigation. Who wrote in his preliminary investigation that the complainant is running a company named FYI Media Group Limited in Canada. In this company, applicant Sukhwinder Singh Sandhu, Raj Kamal Dhatt son of Balveer Singh Dhatt and Tirth Singh (brother of respondent Surinderpal Singh) were 33/33% shareholders and all three were directors of the company in Canada. After which in the year 2017, petitioner Sukhwinder Singh, Tirth Singh and respondent Surinderpal Singh formed For Your Information Media Private Limited Company in India, in which petitioner Sukhwinder Singh Sandhu has 67% stake and respondent Surinderpal Singh has 33% stake.
Respondent, Surinderpal Singh took the complainant in his hands and by claiming to be the director of FYI Media Private Limited, misappropriated the money of For Your Information Media Private Limited Company and took Ertiga car number PB 10 GZ 2427 by withdrawing Rs 10 lakh from the company's account. Thus, respondent Surinderpal Singh along with his wife Gurinder Kaur withdrew Rs. 1,30,84,843/- from the account No. 777705143444 of the company For Your Information Media Private Limited in ICICI Bank on different dates in the said company of the petitioner. Out of which Rs. 1,08,39,350/- as per Uncatcher "A" has been withdrawn by Surinderpal Singh and Rs. 22,48,493/- as per Uncatcher "B" has been withdrawn by his wife Gurinder Kaur or deposited in their individual accounts. Thus, respondent Surinderpal Singh and his wife Gurinder Kaur cheated the petitioner and withdrew Rs. 1,30,84,843/- from the bank. From the statements and documentary evidence obtained from the preliminary investigation of the petition, respondent Surinderpal Singh in connivance with his wife Gurinder Kaur has been misleading the petitioner by portraying himself as the director of FYI Media Pvt Ltd and misusing the funds of For Your Information Media Pvt Ltd. This proves his guilt. He is found guilty under Sections 406, 419, 420,120-B IPC / 316 (2), 318(4) 319 (2) 61 (2) BNS. Therefore, if accepted, it is recommended to register a case against respondent Surinderpal Singh, son of Sant Singh, resident of House No. 1036, Sector-40, Chandigarh and Gurinder Kaur wife of Surinderpal Singh, resident of House No. 1036, Sector-40, Chandigarh under sections 406, 419, 420,120-B IPC / 316 (2), 318(4) 319 (2) 61(2) BNS Police Station NRI Jalandhar Rural and investigate. During investigation, if the involvement of any person is revealed, appropriate action will be taken accordingly.
