Chandigarh, August 28 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that Punjab sisters no longer trust the Aam Aadmi Party government and the people there are looking towards Haryana with hope for welfare schemes. He said that the way the Congress party had earlier hollowed out Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party is also following the same path now and is not fulfilling the promises made to women in the elections.
The Chief Minister was addressing the media after the decision to implement the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana in the cabinet meeting today. Under this scheme, all eligible women will be provided financial assistance of Rs. 2100 per month. He said that our government has worked to fulfill another promise of the Sankalp Patra.
Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the people of Punjab have now made up their minds and have understood well that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the only leader under whose leadership historic works of public welfare are being done in the entire country. In contrast, the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has proven to be a failure at all three levels, willpower, intention and policy.
Haryana government fulfilling promises without elections, elections are almost here in Punjab, yet promises are unfulfilled-
The Chief Minister said that the current Haryana government is determined to fulfill every promise of its manifesto. He hit out at the Congress and said that the Congress party misleads the people in the elections by bringing a manifesto, but as soon as it comes to power, it forgets it, puts it in a bad situation. Congress leaders say one thing and do something else. The same situation is with the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. There too, in the elections, the Aam Aadmi Party had promised to provide financial assistance to women, but it has not been implemented till date. In contrast, in Haryana, where the elections are far away, the government is continuously fulfilling the promises of the Sankalp Patra. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has a guarantee - he has done what he said. While the guarantee of the Congress is like Chinese goods - which has no guarantee. The Chief Minister said that wherever the government is under the leadership of the Prime Minister, be it Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan or Haryana, every promise made to the public has been fulfilled.
Promises made to sisters in Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh have remained unfulfilled till date-
In response to a question, Shri Naib Singh Saini said that some parties take votes in elections, but later leave the public to their fate. He reminded that the Congress had raised the issue of Laddo Laxmi Yojana in the session before the monsoon session, and also asked questions, but now when he was asked why the promises made to the sisters by the Congress governments in Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh have not been fulfilled till now, he had no answer.
In response to another question, Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the Congress party has no issue and he himself has been personally affected by the way the Congress MLAs hoisted the posters of Beti Bachao in the House. By hoisting the posters of Beti Bachao in the House, the Congress has only done a political gimmick. Those during whose rule female foeticide was practiced are talking about women's respect today, which is unfortunate.
