According to the information received from the police, the complainant told the police of Mahilpur police station that he drives a small elephant (tempo) and his son drives a taxi in Mahilpur. On August 21, Amandeep Singh alias R. Deep Singh son of Gian Chand resident of Candowal, Jeeti and Jatinder, sons of uncle/uncle of Amandeep Singh alias R. Deep Singh son of Gian Chand resident of Candowal, loaded a wooden table, some boxes of tiles and junk goods in my car from Mahilpur and went to sell them at the shop of Eklash Ali son of Bachan Shah resident of Chandeli where Amandeep Singh came and asked me why I loaded my goods in my car and quarreled with me and Amandeep and Eklash came to me at Mahilpur police station but no complaint was filed against me here and my son Mohit Joshi brought me from the police station.
After this, he received a call from his son Mohit Joshi that Amandeep and Eklash had called me in front of Joshi Enterprise at 4 pm and both of them quarreled with him during which Eklash Ali caught him and Amandeep Singh hit him on the head with a chain due to which he got injured and escaped from the attackers.
He got his treatment done at the Civil Hospital and took him home and today around 7:30 am his health deteriorated and I brought him to the Civil Hospital for treatment where the doctors declared him dead.
Based on these details, the police registered a case under various sections.
In this regard, the police station in-charge Inspector Jai Pal said that they are investigating the matter thoroughly.
