ADC cancels license of Soft Tech Education Services firm

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, September 06: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Smt. Geetika Singh has cancelled the license of Soft Tech Education Services firm.

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, September 06: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Smt. Geetika Singh has cancelled the license of Soft Tech Education Services firm.
According to the Additional District Magistrate, the license No. 356/IC dated 15-11-2019 for consultancy was issued to Mr. Kuldeep Singh Johal, son of Mr. Dilbagh Singh Johal, owner of Soft Tech Education Services Firm SCO No. 5, 2nd Floor, Sector-125, Sunny Enclave, Kharar, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, House No. 1544, Old Post Office, Mori Gate, Manimajra, Chandigarh, which has expired on 15.11.2024.
He said that due to undeliverable receipt of registered letter of residential address and office address, non-submission of monthly report, non-renewal of license, non-sending of information regarding monthly reports and advertisements, closure of office, non-compliance with the provisions of license, non-response/clarification of notice, the firm and the licensee have committed violation under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012.
In view of the above facts, in exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license number 356/IC dated 15-11-2019 issued to Soft Tech Education Services Firm has been revoked/cancelled with immediate effect.
Apart from this, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/directors/partners/licensees will be responsible in every respect for it and will also be responsible for compensating for it.
