
Sewa Pakhwada program to be celebrated in village panchayats across the state - Krishan Lal Panwar.
Chandigarh, September 9 - The Development and Panchayat Department of Haryana will organize Sewa Pakhwada program in all the village panchayats of the state. This program will run from September 17 to October 2, 2025 and its objective is to give impetus to developmental activities at the village level and promote public participation.

On Tuesday, Panchayat Minister Shri Krishan Lal Panwar held a meeting with the officers of the department at the Panchayat Bhawan in Chandigarh regarding the preparations for this program. The Minister also issued necessary guidelines to all the officers for the successful organization of the program.
After the meeting, Shri Panwar informed that this program of the government is very important. Under this program, various activities will be organized to further strengthen rural development. Various programs including tree planting campaign, cleaning of drains, installation and repair of solar energy lighting, cleaning of ponds will be organized.
He also said that under the program, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission will get more momentum and cleanliness and environmental protection in rural areas will be encouraged. On this occasion, the Sarpanches of smart villages will also be honored.
The Panchayat Minister said that this program will prove to be an important initiative in the direction of inclusive and sustainable rural development in Haryana.
Director of Development and Panchayat Department Shri DK Behera, Director of Rural Development Shri Rahul Narwal and other officers and employees were present in the meeting.
