He announced assistance of Rs 21 lakh each for village Mehnda and Dhani Mehnda

Hansi:- Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Sunday visited Hansi city, Anipura, Garhi, Mehnda and Jeetpura and took stock of the situation created by heavy rains there. The Chief Minister directly communicated with the citizens in the affected areas and discussed with them about their problems. He announced assistance of Rs 21 lakh each for village Mehnda and Dhani Mehnda.
He assured the villagers that the government stands with them in this difficult time. He directed the officials to make arrangements for drainage of water from the areas affected by waterlogging on priority basis so that people can get relief as soon as possible.
The Chief Minister reviewed the relief work and directed the concerned departments to remain active and vigilant. While talking to the villagers, he said that orders have been given to provide help to every affected person. He made it clear to the officials that no person should have shortage of food, medicine or shelter. Taking information about the damage to the crops of the farmers, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that after assessing the damage to the crops, appropriate compensation will be given. He clarified that the government will compensate the damage caused by heavy rains on priority. To provide relief to the farmers, e-compensation portal has been started, on which they can register the details of their damaged crops.
The Chief Minister said that the families whose houses have been damaged by the rain are also being given relief with immediate effect. He said that in this difficult time, the government is standing firmly with the farmers, laborers and rural families. During the tour, the Chief Minister stopped the convoy at many places and talked to the people and directed the officials to solve their every problem.
He inquired from the people about the condition of waterlogging and their problems. During this, he instructed the Deputy Commissioner that apart from the existing drain system, alternative measures should be taken immediately so that a permanent solution to the problem of drainage can be found.
Cabinet Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa and MLA Vinod Bhayana thanked the Chief Minister for reaching among the people and listening to them in this hour of crisis. He said that the Chief Minister has instructed the district officials that there should be no negligence in the affected areas and every possible effort should be made to provide relief to the villagers.
The Chief Minister, while listening to the problems of the people of Jeetpura village, said that the width of the Bass Multi Purpose Channel will be increased so that people do not face any problems in future. MLA Vinod Bhayana gave information about the situation of water logging in the area and the arrangements for water drainage.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to immediately repair any blockage in the drains. The Chief Minister said that the ministers, MLAs and officials of the state government are engaged in the work of quick drainage. We are all together dealing with these adverse conditions with the cooperation of the people. He told the officials to get the water drained from the populated areas on priority basis, along with this, the work of draining water from the fields should also be continued.
