Chandigarh, September 5 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that officers should ensure that complaints of citizens are resolved honestly while respecting public sentiments. The Haryana government is working at the grassroots level with the goal of Antondaya Uthan and immediate resolution of the problems of the common people is the priority of the government.

Chandigarh, September 5 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that officers should ensure that complaints of citizens are resolved honestly while respecting public sentiments. The Haryana government is working at the grassroots level with the goal of Antondaya Uthan and immediate resolution of the problems of the common people is the priority of the government.

The Chief Minister was chairing a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Gurugram on Friday. On this occasion, Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Pataudi MLA Mrs. Bimala Chaudhary, Sohna MLA Mr. Tejpal Tanwar and Gurugram MLA Mr. Mukesh Sharma were also present.
A total of 18 complaints were placed in the meeting, out of which the Chief Minister disposed of 14 on the spot, while 4 cases were directed to be kept pending till the next meeting. He directed the concerned officers to present the status report of these pending cases in the next meeting.

The Chief Minister resolved a complaint that was over a decade old, the complainant expressed gratitude
The case of Pramod Kumar, a resident of Devat Colony, also came up during the meeting. He had complained in the previous meeting held in July that his neighbour had illegally occupied a 12-foot road in his colony's 24-foot wide street for the last 16 years, due to which the traffic of his house was being affected. On the complaint at that time, the Chief Minister had directed the Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram and Member, District Grievance Redressal Committee, Priyavrat Kataria, to go to the spot and inspect the situation and ensure action as per the rules if illegal occupation is found.
The complainant informed in the meeting on Friday that after the action taken by the Municipal Corporation, the concerned neighbor has removed the illegal possession. He thanked the Chief Minister for resolving the 16-year-old problem.

Electricity-related complaint resolved, Resident Welfare Association expresses gratitude
In the meeting, the complaint received from Surya Vihar Resident Association stated that new poles have been installed in the colony, on which it is necessary to get new wires. The old wires installed in Block-1 were more than 30 years old and were hanging quite low, due to which there was a fear of accident during the rainy season. Apart from this, many damaged poles were creating obstruction in traffic. This complaint was kept in the previous meeting, in connection with which the Chief Minister had given necessary guidelines. The complainant thanked the Chief Minister and said that his complaint has been resolved. DHBVN has replaced all the old conductors in the colony and all the damaged poles have been removed and new poles have been installed.

CM directs immediate action on the complaint of Sector-85 Oris Society residents regarding road blockage
In the meeting, the residents of Sector-85 Oris Society informed that the 24-meter wide road connecting the main road of their society with Dwarka Expressway has been blocked by some landowners. Due to this, the residents and school going students are having to use narrow and unsafe roads, which has increased the chances of accidents. Taking action on this complaint, the Chief Minister directed the concerned officials, DTP and STP, to take immediate action and provide relief to the complainant.
On this occasion, Manesar Mayor Dr. Inderjit Yadav, GMDA Principal Advisor Mr. D.S. Dhesi, GMDA CEO Mr. Shyamal Mishra, Divisional Commissioner Mr. R.C. Bidan, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ajay Kumar along with other officers and employees were present.
