Cabinet Minister Baljit Kaur had come to Nawanshahr yesterday to hoist the national flag on the country's Independence Day. Auto Union leaders Johny, Satnam and Gopi said that their union has been raising the demands of auto workers for a long time. But their demands have not been fulfilled.
Through the demand letter, the union leaders demanded that space be provided at the bus stand in Nawanshahr for parking auto rickshaws, that auto rickshaws be allowed to park in new courts, that bank loan penalties be waived due to the complete standstill of business during the Corona period, that the fine imposed due to the failure of tax passing during the lockdown in 2021 be waived, and that fees be deposited without penalty for future tax passing, that auto workers be made members of the Welfare Society, that test passing fees be waived, and that a meeting of union representatives be scheduled with the Chief Minister.
