SAS Nagar, August 4- The festival of Teej was celebrated with great pomp and show under the chairmanship of Kamaljit Singh Ruby, President of Resident Social and Welfare Association, in which the residents of Phase-9 performed Gidde Bhangra and won many prizes by participating in various games.

On this occasion, former Minister Ramuwalia Ji specially attended and while addressing the members of the association, gave special information about the festival of Teej. Which was highly appreciated by everyone. On this occasion, Sohana's MC Rimpi Sohana and Raj Rani Jain MC were also present and they supported and honored Miss Teej. The residents of Phase-9 highly appreciated this initiative of the association.
While informing the journalists, Senior Vice President of the Association Harinder Pal Singh Harry said that Rupinder Kaur, Sharin Puri, Sonia, Palwinder Kaur Sandhu, Preet, Harpreet, Gurmeet, Manjit and members of the Association Captain Rajinder Singh, Gurmukh Singh, Rashpal Singh Chahal, Makhan Singh, Lal Chand, KL Arora, Daljit Singh, Sharanjit Singh, TPS Bedi, Surinder Singh Bedi, Rajinder Singh Tur, Gurmukh Singh, HS Uppal, Jagdev Singh and Amarjit Singh provided special support in the arrangements.
The stage was conducted in a very smooth manner by Deepika Bakshi, Kamlesh, Anu Uppal and Harinder Pal Singh Harry.
On this occasion, Preet and Gurpreet Kaur Bajwa were selected as Teej di Rani in different categories and were honored with a head crown and Phulkari.
Association President Kamaljit Singh Ruby said that with the cooperation and love of all the residents of the area who came, this program turned out to be a symbol of happiness, fun and mutual brotherhood.
