Hoshiarpur- Addressing a meeting organized regarding the preparations for the district level function to be held at the local police line ground on Independence Day, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain directed all the officers to discharge their duties with full devotion and responsibility. During this, she instructed the officers to discharge the duties assigned to them seriously.
She said that there should be no shortage in the arrangements to be made at the police line ground for Independence Day. During this, she gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers for various works including tableaux, barricading, parking, stage decoration, seating arrangements, cleanliness, prize and certificate distribution, drinking water, sound, refreshments, first aid, fire brigade, security and traffic arrangements.
The Deputy Commissioner said that while freedom fighters will be honored during the district level function, persons with extraordinary achievements will also be honored. She informed that tableaux depicting development works will also be taken out by various departments. He directed the District Education Officer to make proper preparations for the mass PT show and cultural programmes by the children of various schools during the function.
