Himachal: Punjabi tourists open fire on dhaba owner in Mandi.

Mandi, March 22- Two Punjabi tourists opened fire on a dhaba owner in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh last night after he allegedly protested against the theft. The incident took place at around 12 am on Friday night at Royal Les Dhaba located in Pulgharat area, when the dhaba owner Pradeep Guleria (55) protested against the alleged theft. According to information, the bullet hit Pradeep on the hand and face, who has been referred to Nerchowk Medical College for treatment.

Dhaba staff said that at around 11:30 pm, two tourists came on a motorcycle and ordered food to be packed. One of them went to the kitchen, while the other was taking money out of the bag and started trying to open the LED installed outside.
When the dhaba owner Pradeep Guleria opposed this, the two of them together threatened him and then took out a country-made pistol and fired. During this, the bullet grazed Pradeep's right hand and hit him on the right side of his mouth. He was taken to the Zonal Hospital in an injured condition, where he was referred to Nerchowk Medical College in view of his serious condition.
