Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 11, 2025: Exercising powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidarke has cancelled the license of CIC Toronto Immigration firm.
Giving information, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidarke said that CIC Toronto Immigration SCF No. 15 2nd Floor, Janta Industrial Area, Sector-82 Mohali, Owner Harbir Singh Virk (Proprietor) S/o Kuldeep Singh Virk Flat No. 203 Aquila, The Taj Towers, Sector-104, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar was issued license No. 327/IC dated 25-07-2019 for the work of consultancy and coaching institute of IELTS. The validity of this license has expired on 24.07.2024.
Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that due to non-receipt of registered letters from office and residential addresses, failure of the licensee to submit monthly reports as per the Act/Rules and advisories, not getting the license renewed and not responding to the notices/giving clarifications, non-compliance of the provisions of the license, the firm and the licensee have violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012. Therefore, in view of the above facts, exercising the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license No. 327/IC dated 25-07-2019 issued to CIC Toronto Immigration Firm has been cancelled/rescinded with immediate effect.
Further, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensee/directors/partner of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee shall be responsible for the same in all respects and shall also be liable for compensation.
