Panchkula, October 11:- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the country’s youth have no dearth of talent. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, young people are getting opportunities to hone their skills and move forward. He said that under the Prime Minister’s visionary guidance, India is rapidly progressing towards becoming a developed nation, and the country’s standing and respect at the global level have increased.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was speaking to reporters after offering prayers at Mata Mansa Devi Temple on the first day of Ashwin Navratri.
The Chief Minister said that, owing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies and the collective efforts of the country’s 1.4 billion people, India has made remarkable progress in development. Targeting the Congress, he said that during its long tenure in power, the party had failed to take the country forward with clear policies and strong political will. He alleged that the Congress and the INDIA alliance lacked substantive issues and were trying to mislead young people through false allegations. He said that the people of the country had now understood the politics of the opposition.
Merit-Based Recruitment Is Creating Opportunities for Young People
The Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government was committed to the welfare of the poorest of the poor and the equitable development of all sections of society. The government’s priority was to ensure that every eligible citizen benefited from its schemes and that young people got opportunities to progress on the basis of merit.
He said that young people in the state were being given government jobs on merit, without bribery or recommendations. The Chief Minister said that before 2014, nepotism and corruption had dominated the recruitment process, whereas the present system prioritised transparency and merit.
Maintaining Law and Order Is the Government’s Priority
On the issue of law and order, the Chief Minister said that ensuring peace and the safety of citizens in the state was among the government’s highest priorities. He alleged that during the tenure of previous Congress governments, people lived in an atmosphere of fear and, in many cases, even faced difficulties in getting FIRs registered.
He said that the present government had directed the police to maintain law and order and take strict action against anti-social elements. If anyone tried to intimidate or threaten another person, strict action was taken against them in accordance with the rules. The government’s objective was to ensure a safe environment in the state so that every citizen could live without fear.
BJP Government Will Be Formed in Punjab in 2027
Responding to a question about the Punjab Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party would form the government in Punjab in 2027. He said that Punjab’s youth, women, farmers and economically weaker sections were expressing faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wanted to strengthen the BJP.
Comparing the situations in Haryana and Punjab, the Chief Minister said that Haryana’s youth were bringing glory to the state by winning medals in sports and performing exceptionally well in competitive examinations. At the same time, he expressed concern over the problem of drug abuse among young people in Punjab and said that effective efforts were needed to tackle this challenge.
The Chief Minister targeted the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, alleging that it had failed to fulfil the promises it had made to the public in the name of honesty. He said that the people of Punjab had recognised the government’s true character and had made up their minds to bring the BJP to power in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the BJP would receive public support in Punjab on the issues of development, transparent governance, youth empowerment and public welfare.
On this occasion, Mayor Shyam Lal Bansal, Haryana State Commission for Scheduled Castes Chairperson Banto Kataria, former Speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly Gyan Chand Gupta, Deputy Commissioner and Chief Administrator of the Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board Satpal Sharma, BJP District President Ajay Mittal, Media Outreach Head Praveen Atre and other dignitaries were present.
