Faridkot, 6 October (Shivnath):- A meeting of the Sheikh Farid Print and Electronic Media Press Club Faridkot was held at Anandiana Gaushala, Faridkot. Recently, the election of the Sheikh Farid Print and Electronic Media Press Club Faridkot was held at Bansal’s commission agency (Jagbani office) in the local Dana Mandi, Faridkot, where K.P. Singh Saran was unanimously elected president of the Press Club, Shivnath Dardi as general secretary and Deepu Singla as treasurer. All powers regarding the meeting were entrusted to newly elected president K.P. Singh Saran. In this connection, a special meeting was organized at Anandiana Gaushala, Faridkot, under the chairmanship of K.P. Singh Saran, where the remaining office-bearers were unanimously elected.
Advocate Rakesh Bhuteja, correspondent of Dainik Savera, was appointed patron of the Press Club; Gautam Bansal, correspondent of Jagbani Group, and Gurvinder Singh Dhanoa, correspondent of Charhdikala, were appointed senior vice-presidents; Dharam Prawana, correspondent of Fast Media, and Naib Raj, editor of Faridkot News Channel-04, were appointed vice-presidents; Pradeep Chawla, special representative of Jagbani Group, was appointed chief adviser; Ravi Bansal, correspondent of Jagbani Group, was appointed joint secretary; Pandit Pramod (AIMA Media) was appointed PRO; and Prateek Sethi, correspondent of Vande Bharat, was appointed joint PRO.
At the end, senior member Naib Raj fed sweets to president K.P. Singh Saran and general secretary Shivnath Dardi with laddoos, and laddoos were distributed among everyone. K.P. Singh Saran said that a meeting of the Press Club would be held before the auspicious festivals of Dussehra and Diwali, during which more members would be inducted and the constitution of the club would be prepared.
The election of the Sheikh Farid Print and Electronic Media Press Club Faridkot has been made effective until 31 December 2027. Saran appealed to all respected members to kindly reach the meetings at the scheduled time.
