Una, October 27:- The Rampur Beli Bridge on the Una-Santokhgarh road will remain closed for six months, from October 28 to April 27, 2027, due to the construction of the New Rampur Beli Bridge. District Magistrate Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard following a request from the Assistant Engineer of the Public Works Department.
During the closure, vehicular traffic will be diverted from Una Rampur Chowk via Chanderlok Colony towards Kuthar Kalan.
According to the order, the permission has been granted under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The District Magistrate has directed the concerned officials to install signboards along the route in advance and inform the general public about the bridge closure and traffic diversion through various media platforms.
