Hoshiarpur (Daljit Ajnoha):- MLA Bram Shankar Zimpa said that development works are being carried out in every ward of Hoshiarpur city without any discrimination. As part of this initiative, various development works costing around Rs 27 lakh have been undertaken in Ward No. 19 and Ward No. 23, providing better basic facilities to the people of these areas.

MLA Zimpa said that the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is giving priority to the overall development of cities. Development works are also continuing in Hoshiarpur, and other works will be completed in the coming time according to the needs of the people.

He said that for the first time in Hoshiarpur city, comprehensive works related to street lights have been carried out at a cost of around Rs 12 crore. This has improved lighting arrangements on the city’s roads and in various localities, providing convenience to people while travelling at night.

The MLA said that roads, streets, drains, street lights and other essential facilities are being strengthened for the development of the city. His objective is to make Hoshiarpur a modern, clean and convenient city. He said that the pace of development works would continue in the same manner and the promises made to the people would be fulfilled on a priority basis.

Mayor Parveen Saini, Senior Deputy Mayor Surinder Kumar and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
