Sahibzada Ajit Nagar, September 30:- Students of Shaheed Major Harminder Pal Singh (Shaurya Chakra) Government College, SAS Nagar (Mohali), gave an outstanding performance in the athletics competitions of Khedan Vatan Punjab Diyan Season-4, 2026. The students secured positions in various events and brought laurels to the college.
Sapna secured first position in the 1500-metre and 5000-metre events and second position in the 800-metre event.
Bhawna secured second position in the 800-metre and 5000-metre events.
Kajal secured second position in the 400-metre and 5000-metre events.
Divya secured second position in the 1500-metre event and third position in the 800-metre event.
Principal Smt. Jaspreet Kaur Bains congratulated the students on their achievements and said that sports develop discipline, self-confidence, team spirit and leadership qualities. She encouraged the students to work harder and bring laurels to the college and Punjab at higher levels.
Head of Physical Education Prof. Simarpreet Kaur said that the students achieved these accomplishments through dedication, continuous practice and hard work. She extended her best wishes to the students.
Prof. Jagtar Singh encouraged the students to progress with hard work, discipline and dedication. He said that such achievements also encourage other students to take part in sports.
