Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 09 October, 2026:- District Employment and Business Bureau (DBEE)/ Model Career Centre (MCC), Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar in collaboration with Amity University Punjab successfully organized "Chetna – Conference of School Students 2026" (second phase of five-day Chetna program) from 5 October 2026 to 9 October 2026 at Amity University Punjab. More than 1400 students from 20 different private schools participated in this program.
Main objective of this program was to make students aware about correct career related information, guidance and education and employment opportunities available in future, so that they can choose right career according to their interest, ability and capability.
During program, students were given information about important topics like career counselling, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and career opportunities in future, identification of their strengths and career related interests, changing impact of technology in field of employment, career opportunities in field of law, journey from LLB to legal practice and cyber security.
On this occasion Shri Varinder Khosa, DSP, Mrs. Sukhman Mann, District Employment Officer; Shri M.K. Bhardwaj, LDM Mohali, Shri Sukhbir Singh, ASI Cyber Security, Mrs. Nabiha, Career Counsellor; Shri Sunil Saini, Assistant Director; Dr. Puneet Sharma, Professor and Additional Pro Vice Chancellor and Amity team shared their views and knowledge with students on various topics.
Speakers/career experts inspired students to identify their skills and interests, connect with new technical developments and prepare themselves according to future needs. They also made students aware about importance of keeping correct information, proper guidance and clarity towards their goals while choosing career.
This initiative of DBEE/MCC, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar is an important step towards creating career related awareness among students and preparing them for future challenges and opportunities. This program makes meaningful objective of "Chetna" — awareness, inspiration and right direction.
