Chandigarh, 7 October:- Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah on Wednesday launched the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Jyot Yatra’ in the cyber city of Gurugram under the Seva Sankalp campaign. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah handed over the torch of the yatra to Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, conveying the message of taking the state forward on the path of development and actively contributing to the building of a developed India.

At the state-level programme organized in Gurugram on this occasion, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah, Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, other public representatives and thousands of youth listened live to the address of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Addressing the people on the completion of 25 years of his public life, the Prime Minister called upon citizens to contribute to realizing the vision of a developed India with dedication to service, good governance and nation-building.

Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Minister Gaurav Gautam, BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta, former Union Minister Smriti Irani, BJP Parliamentary Board member Dr. Sudha Yadav, Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar, Pataudi MLA Bimla Chaudhary, Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma and other dignitaries were present at the programme.

Addressing the state-level programme, Shri Amit Shah said that the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s public life is a golden and transformative chapter in the history of Indian democracy. He said that during these 25 years, Shri Narendra Modi has continuously served the country and crores of citizens as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

Shri Amit Shah said that October 7 holds special significance in the history of Indian democracy. A person born into a poor family, through his ability and talent and by taking crores of people along, has set a record of leading the country as Chief Minister and Prime Minister for 25 years. These 25 years of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s public life will be inscribed in golden letters in history.

The Union Home Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country has achieved numerous significant milestones over the past 25 years. He mentioned achievements such as efforts to eliminate poverty, a secure India, abrogation of Article 370, elimination of Naxalism, construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath Dham, and taking the country’s infrastructure to new heights. He said that efforts towards the welfare of the poor have achieved significant success in bringing 25 crore people out of poverty.

Shri Amit Shah said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years have been 25 years of welfare of the poor, India’s pride and the nation’s progress. The ‘Seva Jyot Yatra’ has been organized to commemorate these 25 years of service and achievements. The objective of the yatra is to commemorate, through public participation, the country’s development and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years of dedication to service. He called upon the youth to make an active contribution to nation-building and to realizing the vision of a developed India.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini walked through the major roads of Gurugram and installed the torch of the yatra near Signature Tower. During this, he handed over the torch to the youth and called upon them to actively participate in building a developed India. The yatra was launched with the Viksit Bharat Sabha, in which thousands of youth participated enthusiastically.

Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, conveying the message of realizing the vision of a developed India, said that the development of the country and the state would be meaningful only when better facilities reach every person and people’s lives become happy, prosperous and free from problems.
