Ambala, October 29 (R. Singh):- Kirpal Singh Saini, a resident of Sector 10 in Ambala City, has written a letter to the Haryana Chief Minister, complaining of alleged corruption and negligence in the Ambala Municipal Corporation. The complainant alleges that he submitted a file to the Municipal Corporation in July 2025 to convert a plot from residential to commercial use, but no action was taken until November 2025. He lodged a complaint on the CM Window portal, but received no response. When he followed up a year later, he was told that the plot would first have to be subdivided. According to the complainant, he completed all the documentation for subdivision in May 2026, but the process remains incomplete, forcing him to make daily rounds of officials and employees.

Kirpal Singh Saini alleges that no action has been taken on the file to date, nor has any objection been raised. He has not been informed which official is currently handling the file. He claims that the Municipal Corporation could collect fees worth lakhs of rupees through the plot's conversion and approval, but the officials remain indifferent. In his complaint letter, he writes that no public work in the Ambala Municipal Corporation is allegedly carried out without money or recommendations. He has met the Commissioner twice and the Assistant Commissioner three times regarding the matter, but all his efforts have been futile. Describing his appeal to the Chief Minister as his last resort, he has sought immediate action.
