Garhshankar- Olympian Jarnail Singh Memorial Football Tournament Committee Garhshankar has expressed grief over the demise of eminent footballer Charanjit Singh Bains of Canada, Senior Vice President of the Tournament Committee and younger brother of retired SP Shivinderjit Singh Bains.
Committee President Mukhtiar Singh Happy Mauji, Dr. Harvinder Singh Bath, Balvir Singh Bains, Roshanjit Singh Bains said that while Charanjit Singh Bains has been an international player of JCT, he has been ready as the General Secretary of Olympian Jarnail Singh Football Tournament Committee Calgary and has contributed from time to time for the expansion of sports.
They said that the Bains family has a great contribution in the field of sports and the untimely death of Charanjit Singh Bains has caused an irreparable loss.
On behalf of the tournament committee, Yograj Gambhir, Ranjit Singh Khakh, Amandeep Bains, Kashmir Singh Bhajjal, Shalinder Singh Rana, coach Hardeep Singh Gill and other members expressed their condolences to Shivinderjit Singh Bains and his family.
