Patiala, February 20- Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust, an institution always at the forefront in helping the needy and rendering exemplary service, is organising a three-day national conference at Sunny Uberai Vivek Sadan, Advanced Institute of Social Sciences, Sri Anandpur Sahib, run under the patronage of the trust's founder Dr. SP Singh Uberai. Giving information about the conference to be held from February 21 to 23 on the topic 'Contemporary Punjabi Studies and Research: Talent, Vision and Future Direction', Dr. SP Singh Uberai said that the main objective of this conference is to further enhance the identity of Punjabi at the international level, besides new trends emerging in Punjabi literature, the status of Punjabi language in modern society, the impact of media and technology on language and culture, new research standards by students and researchers, new policies on Punjabi language. He also informed that during this conference, subject experts, scholars and research students from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjab University Chandigarh, Delhi University Delhi, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University Patiala, Punjabi University Patiala, Jammu University Jammu, Himachal Pradesh Central University Dharamshala, Kurukshetra University and Central University Bathinda will participate. He informed that the Trust will make arrangements for accommodation and food for the guests coming to the conference. According to Dr. Uberoi, this national conference will provide a platform for academicians, students, writers and researchers where they will be able to discuss various aspects of Punjabi studies, which will give a new direction to Punjabi research and studies.
