Vidya Mandir students win medals in National Kickboxing Championship

Hoshiarpur- The "Children and Cadets National Kickboxing Championship" organized by the Tamil Nadu State Amateur Kickboxing Association was held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu from 27th August to 31st August 2025. This competition witnessed excellent kickboxing performances from across the country, and in this, students of Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary Model School, Hoshiarpur also proved their excellent talent. Tanuj, a student of class X, won gold and silver medals in the competition, while Kritika of class IX won a silver medal. Dehal of class VIII and Krish of class V also brought glory to the school by winning silver medals in their respective categories.

Vidya Mandir School President Anurag Sood congratulated these promising players and informed that Tanuj, who is a gold medalist, will be sent to a training camp in Bangalore and has also been selected for the Asian Championship. Silver medalists Kritika, Dehal and Krish will also get a chance to attend the training camp to be held in Bangalore.
School Secretary Dr. Harshwinder Singh Pathania blessed the players and appreciated their dedication and hard work. School Principals Shobha Rani Kanwar, Manisha Joshi, Vijaya Kanwar, Chetna and Aman Dhiman were also present to bless these students. They motivated the players about the importance of hard work, patience and sportsmanship.
