During this time, permission was given to keep goods up to two and a half feet ahead of the shutters of shops regarding encroachment in the city. At the same time, the contractor was reprimanded for the flaws in the sanitation system and asked to improve the system within a week. Apart from this, a plan was made to take action against illegal shed operators in the case of stray animals.
MLA Vinod Bhayana was constantly receiving complaints regarding these three issues. DMC Neeraj Kumar was specially present with MLA Vinod Bhayana to resolve the complaints. Along with this, SDM Rajesh Khoth and concerned officials and representatives of trade organizations were also present. The issue of encroachment was discussed first in the meeting.
In which the trade representatives told that they too are troubled by encroachment and want a permanent solution to it. During this, the MLA said about encroachment that there will be only one rule in the whole city. Only two and a half feet of goods will be allowed to be kept ahead of the shutter. Legal action will be taken against any shopkeeper who keeps goods beyond this.
During this, the MLA clearly told the trade representatives that no trader should call him to avoid action in the case of encroachment. In this matter, the trader representatives promised not to call and to cooperate. At the same time, he told the officials that if any shopkeeper does not agree after explaining, then action should be taken against him as per the rules.
At the same time, in the cleanliness matter, the MLA clearly said that he is not satisfied with the cleanliness system.
During this, DMC Neeraj Kumar told the contractor in a strict tone that he should improve the cleanliness system, otherwise the firm will be blacklisted. After which he will not be able to take tenders anywhere in Haryana. At the same time, MLA Vinod Bhayana said that the entire city was cleaned when the DMC came, otherwise there were heaps of garbage all over the city. During this, MLA's political advisor Dinesh Bhutani advised to prepare mapping of the city in the matter of cleanliness.
In this, he advised to divide the city into nine zones and appoint one supervisor in each zone. He also advised to put one JE on duty in every three zones. Also, he suggested to hold competitions in the zones regarding cleanliness and give prizes to the employees of the winning zone. On this, DMC Neeraj Kumar said that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has also asked to hold such competitions at the urban level.
DMC Neeraj Kumar said that through mapping, employees will have solid information about their areas and the cleanliness system will improve due to competition. DMC told the officials of the Municipal Council that everyone should do monitoring in the matter of cleanliness, otherwise action will be taken against them too.
At the same time, in the discussion about stray animals, the Executive Officer of the Municipal Council, Dr. Suresh Chauhan told that till now 1419 stray animals have been caught and left in the cowshed. Tagging of all these animals has also been done from the Government Veterinary Hospital. During this, the MLA clearly said that he wants a city free of stray animals. On which the trade representatives said that illegal cattle owners in the city milk the cows and leave them on the streets. Due to which accidents also happen. On this, the DMC asked to register an FIR against such cattle owners. Also gave instructions to improve the street light system.
At the same time, action was demanded against the illegal meat shops near Tikona Park and those who sit there and drink alcohol. On this, the MLA instructed DSP Vinod Shankar to take strict action.
MLA Vinod Bhayana said that action will be started soon against encroachment. He said that by working on these issues at the ground level, the city will become absolutely clean. Most of the problems of the city are related to these subjects. In such a situation, these problems will be resolved. During this, MLA Vinod Bhayana instructed that action should be taken to solve the problem of stray animals by forming a committee of the concerned departments and prominent social workers under the chairmanship of SDM Rajesh Khoth.
