Deputy Commissioner reviews progress of administrative works during monthly meeting

Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today held a meeting with various departments and took a detailed review of the progress of the programs and schemes being run by them. During this, while addressing the meeting of revenue officers, she took an in-depth review of various matters, schemes and pending works related to revenue and directed the officers to ensure transparent and time-bound services.

During this, while addressing the meeting of revenue officers, she took an in-depth review of various matters, schemes and pending works related to revenue and directed the officers to ensure transparent and time-bound services.
The progress regarding easy registration and renovation of Mukerian Tehsil Complex was discussed in the meeting. The current status of ‘Mera Ghar Mere Naam’ scheme was also reviewed.
Apart from this, the status report of ongoing land acquisition cases, Khasra-wise mapping, Musavi-cadastral digitization, Jamabandi, digital crop survey and easy Jamabandi services (online services, mutation, report, Fard Badar, creation of bank login ID etc.) were reviewed.
The progress of the work of the District Mineral Foundation was also discussed in detail in the meeting. Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain instructed the officers to make all the services of the Revenue Department available to the common people in an easy and transparent manner. 
She clarified that it is the priority of the district administration that maximum benefits of online services like easy registry and easy Jamabandi reach the public. Therefore, all the officers should work responsibly at their respective levels. 
Addressing the meeting of the Health Department, he stressed on holding weekly inter-departmental meetings regularly for the supply of safe drinking water and prevention of water-borne diseases. The Deputy Commissioner directed all the officers to implement the schemes on priority basis and ensure timely and quality services to the public.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, SDM Dasuha Kanwaljit Singh, SDM Mukerian Ankur Mahindru, SDM Garhshankar Sanjeev Kumar, SDM Tanda Parampreet Singh and other officers were also present on the occasion.
