Paigam-e-Jagat Maur Mandi:- The employees working at the toll plaza located at Sheikhpura village on Maur-Talwandi road submitted a memorandum to the company officials regarding their legitimate demands. The toll plaza employees said that we had earlier submitted a memorandum to the officials of the RENU company, which manages the said toll plaza, under the leadership of Darshan Singh Ladi, state president of the Toll Plaza Workers Union, on July 28 regarding our demands such as low salary, EPFO, shortage of staff and lack of many other facilities.
After which a meeting was held with the company but no conclusion was reached in the meeting and recently the toll plaza employees again submitted a memorandum to the company officials regarding their demands.
After submitting the demand letter, the toll plaza employees said that if all our demands are not fulfilled within a week, then after seven days, they will start a strike by closing the toll plaza under the leadership of Toll Plaza Workers Union Punjab Registered (17) State President Darshan Singh Ladi, Sheikhpura Toll Plaza President Gurdeep Singh, General Secretary Harpal Singh, Senior Vice President Sarabjit Singh and Vice President Harpreet Singh.
