Nawanshahr- Under the directions of Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar and Honorable District and Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Mrs. Priya Sood, the District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar celebrated International Senior Citizens Day with the elderly living at the Old Age Home Kirpal Sagar Academy, Rahon on 01.10.2025 and organized a legal awareness seminar.
On this occasion, Civil Judge (Senior Division)/ CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Dr. Amandeep interacted with the elderly and listened to their problems.
Apart from this, they were made aware of their rights under the Senior Citizens Act. Apart from this, they were assured of providing Aadhaar card, old age pension and solving other problems to the elderly. On this occasion, PLV Miss Jaswinder Kaur Rani and members of the old age home Kirpal Sagar Academy, Rahon and other servants were present.
