Constituency MLA S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa today held an important meeting with Mandi Board, Mining and Drainage and PWD officials at Rest House Mubarikpur in the presence of SDM Dera Bassi Amit Gupta.
During this, he directed that the problems arising due to the recent rains should be resolved immediately. The MLA stressed that no delay will be tolerated in the construction of roads for which approval has already been given. Proposals for the repair of roads requiring approval should be prepared immediately.
He also directed the concerned departments to strengthen the embankments so that people can be saved from loss of life and property due to rains in the coming times.
S. Randhawa said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to the welfare of the people and rapid development of the area. He gave clear instructions to the officials that the quality of every project should be excellent and it should be completed in a time bound manner.
