According to him, Vastu is the science that can improve our future and proves helpful in making life beautiful. Therefore, it is necessary that we build our house in a way that is compatible with nature. The real meaning of Vastu is "Vas Tu", that is, where you live, that place should be in harmony with nature.
In Vastu, special care should be taken of the ten directions, five elements, the size and slope of the land, etc. If the directions and the five elements are correctly determined, then the house proves to be a boon for you, otherwise, that house becomes a cause of sorrow, poverty and misfortune.
While building a house, take special care that there is no defect in the Ishan corner (north-east). If this corner is light, low and an additional factor, then there is a permanent residence of wealth in the house. But if a toilet, stairs or a heavy building is built in the Ishan corner, then the effect of sorrow, poverty and accident can be seen.
Similarly, do not ignore the Nerit corner (south-west). Keep it heavy, high and improved, otherwise there can be negative effects in the house. If the Brahmasthan is improved along with the Ishan and Nerit corners, then the house can prove to be helpful in changing one's fate and strengthening one's luck.
Dr. Bhupendra Vastu Shastri says that if the Ishan corner is cut and there is a hole in the North corner, people are often heard saying this - "I didn't believe it either, but when trouble came, I also became convinced that Vastu really has an effect."
