Every loss from crops to houses will be compensated - Ranbir Gangwa.

Chandigarh, September 8 - Haryana Public Works Minister Mr. Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that due to heavy rains and broken drains in various districts of the state, farmers' crops and people's property have suffered heavy damage. He clarified that the state government will not let farmers and the general public face any kind of trouble and relief will be provided to every affected person soon.

Chandigarh, September 8 - Haryana Public Works Minister Mr. Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that due to heavy rains and broken drains in various districts of the state, farmers' crops and people's property have suffered heavy damage. He clarified that the state government will not let farmers and the general public face any kind of trouble and relief will be provided to every affected person soon.
He said that the government has opened an e-Shatipurti portal to compensate farmers for their losses. Farmers can upload the details of their damaged crops on this portal. He said that till now, crop damage has been registered by 40 thousand 433 farmers from 276 villages of the district in about 2 lakh 55 thousand 491 acres of land. The government will soon complete the investigation of these claims and start the process of providing compensation to the farmers.
Cabinet Minister Ranbir Gangwa said that not only the farmers, but also those whose houses or roofs have been damaged will be given relief. The aim of the state government is to extend support to every family that has been affected by this disaster. He said that in this time of crisis, the government stands firmly with the people.
The Cabinet Minister further said that all the MLAs and public representatives of the state will donate one month's salary each for flood relief work. This amount will be deposited in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund so that it can be used to help the affected people. Apart from this, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has also appealed to all the officers and employees of the state to voluntarily contribute to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
He said that social and religious institutions are also continuously helping in the flood-affected areas. This cooperation is commendable and is providing great relief to the affected families. The Cabinet Minister said that natural disasters bring difficult times, but the government, society and organizations together will overcome this challenge.
