Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, September 15: Under the directions of Shri Harmandeep Singh Hans, Senior Superintendent of Police, District S.A.S. Nagar, during a campaign against anti-social elements by the Mohali District Police, Saurav Jindal, Station House Officer Police (Investigation), Talwinder Singh, Station House Officer Police (Operation), Jatinder Singh Chauhan, Sub-Inspector Police (Investigation), District S.A.S. Nagar, under supervision, the team of Inspector Harminder Singh, In-Charge CIA Staff, succeeded in arresting 03 out of 04 accused involved in the robbery incident where, on the intervening night of 06/07-09-2025, 04 unidentified motorcycle-borne individuals entered a house in village Sekhan Majra, injured family members with sharp weapons, and executed the robbery.
Shri Saurav Jindal, providing further information, stated that on 07-09-2025, based on the statements of Kulwant Singh son of Baldev Singh, resident of village Sekhan Majra, Police Station I.T. City, Mohali, a case No. 120 dated 07-09-2025 under Sections 115(2), 305, 307, 331(4), 351(2), 3(5) B.N.S., Police Station I.T. City, Mohali, was registered against unidentified accused. He stated that on the intervening night of 06/07-09-2025, he was sleeping at home with his family when, around 01:15 A.M., he heard screams from his son Lakhwinder Singh and his wife. 
The bulb in his shed was off; when he started going towards his son's room, one person grabbed him, who had a pistol and sharp weapons. One person told him that if he made noise, he would be shot. His son tried to catch them, but those persons struck his son Lakhwinder Singh on the head and arms with a dagger, causing serious injuries to his head and severing the veins in his arms. 
Those who injured his family looted gold jewelry, cash, etc., from the house and fled. Due to the injuries, his son was admitted to Cheema Hospital, Phase-4, Mohali, for 07 days.
Due to the seriousness of the crime, the investigation of the above case was handed over to the CIA Staff as per the orders of the Senior Superintendent of Police, District S.A.S. Nagar, and instructions were given to trace the accused in the above case and arrest them immediately. 
Accordingly, Inspector Harminder Singh, In-Charge CIA, and his team, while taking action, with the help of technical and human sources, named 04 accused in the case and arrested 03 accused, and also recovered the looted items from them.

Accused Gurinder Singh alias Boparai son of Laabh Singh, resident of House No. 2989 C.R.P.F. Colony Dugri, Police Station Dugri, District Ludhiana, aged about 41 years, who has studied B.Sc. Nursing and is married.
Accused Tejinder Singh alias Prince son of Tarsem Singh, resident of House No. 498, Gali No. 5, Nirmal Nagar Dugri, Police Station Dugri, District Ludhiana, aged about 39 years, who has passed 12th class and is unmarried.
Accused Nitesh Kumar son of Omprakash, resident of House No. 2789 C.R.P.F. Colony Dugri, Police Station Dugri, District Ludhiana, aged about 43 years, who has passed 10th class and is married. (The accused were arrested on 13-09-2025 from C.R.P.F. Colony Dugri, Ludhiana)
Manvinder Singh alias Babboo son of Lakhman Singh, resident of House No. 475, Gali No. 5-1/2, Nirmal Nagar, Ludhiana. (Arrest pending)
