Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 21 July 2025: A major campaign to plant trees across the country under the slogan "One tree in the name of your mother" was started and is continuing continuously.
By making the surroundings green by planting more and more trees, not only does it give mental satisfaction to those who do this work, but the surroundings also start smelling fragrant.
This was stated by Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar Madam Surabhi Parashar while participating in the tree planting campaign being conducted by Eco Plantation.
He said that the Legal Services Authority organizes camps on various occasions to make the general public aware of providing legal aid.
On this occasion, he donated 1000 plants to boost the morale of the entrepreneurs involved in this campaign.
On this occasion, the office bearers of Eko Foundation said that they are engaged in the work of planting plants throughout the year and providing plants to the people free of cost.
In Sector 69, Mohali, they have developed a nursery from where any person can get plants every Sunday.
It is worth mentioning here that plants rich in Ayurvedic properties are distributed from this nursery.
On this occasion, Mr. Malkit Singh, Kulwant Singh Aulakh, RK Singh, HS Matharu, HR Simar, Tanveer Singh, Advocate Amandeep Kaur Sohi, Jatinder Singh, Jaspal Singh, Sanjeev Garg, Kulwant Singh Railway, Baljit Kaur, Jagdish Thind, Manvinder Singh Chhabra and other dignitaries were present.
