Banga/Nawanshahr- The Postgraduate Commerce Department of Sikh National College, Banga organized an educational-cum-industrial tour on 25th September 2025 under the leadership of Dr. Kamaldeep Kaur, Head of the Department, accompanied by faculty members Prof. Ramandeep Kaur, Prof. Hardeep Kaur and Prof. Manraj Kaur. A group of 50 students from BCom, BBA and MCom classes participated in the tour enthusiastically.
The tour began with an interactive session at Ludhiana Stock and Capital Limited (Stock Exchange), where the students gained practical experience of trading systems, financial markets and investment strategies.
This was followed by a visit to the historic Gurdwara Manji Sahib Alamgir Sahib, where the students connected with the spiritual teachings and sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The next destination, the Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum, presented valuable information about the military history of Punjab and the glorious legacy of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
The tour concluded with a visit to the zoo, which enhanced the awareness of students towards biodiversity, wildlife conservation and ecological balance. Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder appreciated the initiative, noting that such visits provide holistic learning opportunities to students by combining industrial contact with spiritual, historical and environmental awareness.
