Hoshiarpur:- After the death of 75-year-old Jai Rani Jain, a resident of Ashok Nagar, Lawyers Bazaar, her family members donated her mother's eyes to Thind Eye Hospital through Rotary Eye Bank. The donation process was completed by Dr. Amaninder Pal, Amandeep Singh, Amarjit Kaur and Assistant Gurpreet Singh.

The donation process was completed by Dr. Amaninder Pal, Amandeep Singh, Amarjit Kaur and Assistant Gurpreet Singh.
On this occasion, Rotary Eye Bank Chairman and prominent social worker Sanjeev Arora thanked the family and said that Mata Jai ??Rani Jain's eyes will brighten two dark lives who were living a dark life due to corneal blindness till date. He said that eyes donated by one person benefit two people.
Mr. Arora said that if someone dies around you, his eyes can be taken within 6 to 8 hours of death. If the family informs at the right time, their eyes can be donated, which proves helpful in brightening someone's dark life.
On this occasion, husband Sikander Lal Jain and son Sandeep Jain said that it was their mother's wish that her eyes be donated after her death, so the family fulfilled her wish and donated the eyes. On this occasion, Madan Lal Mahajan, Vijay Arora and Ishan Jain were also present from the society.
