The Minister was chairing a review meeting with the officials of the department regarding Sewa Pakhwada here today. It was informed in the meeting that under the 'One Tree in the Name of Mother' campaign, there is a target of planting 4 lakh saplings in the state and it will be uploaded on the portal 'My Life' of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
The main program will be organized on September 19 in Bir, Hisar. He said that according to the program of the Union Ministry, on September 25, on the occasion of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jayanti, all the District Forest Officers will run a special program on cleanliness in their respective offices and give the message of cleanliness by doing Shramdaan for one day, one hour, together with a summit walk.
It was informed in the meeting that during the fortnight, 4 mobile propaganda vehicles will also be used by the department to propagate the campaign through a digital wall. On this, the Minister also directed to upload a video on plastic.
The Minister said that the government's goal is to make the NCR region green and his goal is to realize the dream of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of creating a forest safari in the Aravalli region. He instructed the officers to seek entry from experts in this field for the forest safari.
