City Halwai Association comes forward to help flood victims.

Hoshiarpur- Showing human compassion, City Halwai Association has taken a commendable step to help the families affected by the recent floods in the district. The association today presented a cheque of Rs 1.50 lakh to the district administration through Hoshiarpur MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa for relief work.

On this occasion, MLA Jimpa thanked the association and said that in this difficult time, the support being given by different sections of the society and organizations will help the flood affected families. He said that the government of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to provide all possible help to the flood victims and the administration is continuously taking forward the relief and rehabilitation works on priority basis.
The MLA said that the support of social organizations further strengthens the efforts of the administration. He also appealed to the people to come forward to help the needy families so that no family feels alone.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Bhim Sen, Ajay Mohan Babi, Kewal Krishna Gautam, Rakesh Kumar, Praveen Kumar Ohri, Yashpal Saini, Sonu Saini, Prem Kumar Sharma, Prem Raj Purohit, Rakesh Sharma, Vipin Walia Shammi, Aniket Sharma, Deepak Kumar Lucky and other members of the association were also present.
