
Teachers' Day celebrated at Red Cross and Integrated Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Center for Drug Victims.
Nawanshahr- Teachers' Day was celebrated at Red Cross Integrated Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Center for Drug Victims, Dharamshala Bhucharan, Railway Road Nawanshahr. Chaman Singh Project Director presided over it. On this occasion, he welcomed today's chief guest Master Harinder Singh and thanked him and congratulated the entire gathering on the occasion of Teachers' Day.

Director Chaman Singh shared detailed information about the life of the great intellectual who rose from a teacher to the position of the first Vice President of independent India and the second President of India, Sarvepalli Dr. Radhakrishnan.
He said that education plays an important role in being successful in life. Parents are the ones who give birth in life, but it is the teachers who show the real way to live. A teacher is a role model for students, taking guidance from whom the student builds his good future.
On this occasion, the chief guest Master Harinder Singh said that a teacher is like a candle that burns itself and gives light to others. Teachers teach us to fight the challenges in life and inspire others to build a better future. He said that we should take care of our children, because children are like blank pages, they do not have the knowledge of good and bad people in the society, due to which many times children fall into bad situations.
Apart from this, the organization honored Harinder Singh. On this occasion, Project Director Chaman Singh, Jaswinder Kaur, Kamaljit Kaur, Danesh Kumar, Manjit Singh, Parveen Kumari, Kulwant Singh, Parvesh Kumar, Kamla Rani, patients admitted to the organization and their family members were present.
