SAS Nagar, August 26- Lecturers working in the education department Bhupinder Singh Samra, Sukhbir Singh, Manoj Kumar, Sukhwinder Singh, Deepak Sharma, Satinderjit Kaur, Maninder Kaur, Surjit Singh, Jagjit Singh Sidhu, Sandeep Kaur, Sanjeev Kumar Dhingra, Arun Kumar, Gurmeet Singh, Jatinder Kumar, Harmeet Singh, Ashwani Kumar, Mukhtiar Singh, Aman Sharma, Archana Joshi, Harvinder Singh Deol and others have demanded that the promotions of principals be done only as per the seniority lists of 2015.
Expressing strong objection to the new provisional seniority list 2025 of lecturers issued by the School Education Department Punjab recently, he said that if lecturers are promoted to principals according to this seniority list 2025, they will be entangled in legal issues because this seniority list is full of errors, which is being opposed from all sides.
He said that the Honorable Court has also said that till the new seniority list is prepared, promotions can be made according to the old seniority list 2015.
He has demanded from the Punjab Education Minister that this new seniority list 2025 should be immediately stopped and principals should be promoted only according to the old seniority list 2015.
