Una, 7 August- A Legal Services Clinic was inaugurated at District Sainik Board Una under NALSA Veer Sahayata Yojana 2025. This inauguration was done by Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia and Executive Chairman of State Legal Services Authority and Judge of Himachal Pradesh High Court Vivek Singh Thakur through virtual medium.
This Legal Services Clinic will act as a dedicated platform to provide free and accessible legal aid to ex-servicemen, their dependents and martyr families. In this, ex-servicemen paralegal volunteers and ex-servicemen lawyers will assist in resolving their legal problems.
District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of District Legal Services Authority Una Naresh Kumar, all judicial officers of district courts, Deputy Director of District Sainik Board Una Lieutenant Colonel Satwinder Kumar Kalia, representatives of ex-servicemen panel lawyers and paralegal volunteers were present in the function.
