A grand event will be held in Kurukshetra on the 350th martyrdom day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on 25th

Chandigarh, August 1 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that the feet of the Sikh Guru Shri Tegh Bahadur Ji, the head of India, have been laid in 26 historical Gurudwaras on the land of Haryana. On 25th November, the Haryana Government will celebrate his 350th martyrdom day in a grand manner in Kurukshetra.

Chandigarh, August 1 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that the feet of the Sikh Guru Shri Tegh Bahadur Ji, the head of India, have been laid in 26 historical Gurudwaras on the land of Haryana. On 25th November, the Haryana Government will celebrate his 350th martyrdom day in a grand manner in Kurukshetra.
The Chief Minister was presiding over a meeting organized here today regarding the organization of the 350th martyrdom day program of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
It was informed in the meeting that a state level working committee and a state level executive committee have been formed for the successful organization of this program. The meeting of the committee has been called on August 6th, in which the cooperation to be extended by the Haryana Government will be discussed in detail.
The Chief Minister said that at least 5 such programs should be organized which are related to Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur. Podharopan, Marathon, Bike Rally, Light and Sound Show should be organized in his name. To give the message of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's martyrdom for the protection of his teachings and religion, four processions will be taken out from different places of the state from the last week of October, which will conclude in Kurukshetra on November 25.
The meeting was also informed that a logo of the program will also be prepared. Apart from this, a social media page will also be created.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary Shri Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary of the Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department Dr. Amit Agarwal, Director General Shri K.M. Pandurang, Special Officer (Community Policing and Outreach) Mr. Pankaj Nain, Additional Director (Administration) of the Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department Mrs. Varsha Khangwal, OSD to the Chief Minister Dr. Prabhleen Singh and other officers were present.
