On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the environment is our shared heritage and its protection is the responsibility of all of us. Along with planting trees, it is equally important to keep them safe and grow them. He said that the district administration is serious and committed to environmental protection. For this purpose, a campaign is being run to increase greenery in industrial areas as well.
He appealed to the people that every person must plant at least one tree in a year and also take the responsibility of taking care of it. He said that this collective effort is very important to give clean air and green environment to the coming generations.
During the program, trees were planted on the vacant land within the industrial complex and on the roadside. Under this campaign, 600 fruit and shade trees will be planted in the industrial area Pandoga, which will help in making the area green and environment friendly.
On this occasion, DFO Sushil Rana, Joint Director Industries Anshul Dhiman and other officers and employees were present.
