Chandigarh, July 18 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Geeta Sathali Jyotisar will become the world's largest, most memorable and historical tourist destination. The government is spending a budget of about Rs 250 crore to develop this Geeta Sathali in view of tourism. Chandigarh, July 18 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Geeta Sathali Jyotisar will become the world's largest, most memorable and historical tourist destination. The government is spending a budget of about Rs 250 crore to develop this Geeta Sathali in view of tourism. Tourists coming from all over the country and abroad will have a vivid vision of the history of Kurukshetra at the Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra here.
The Chief Minister visited the Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra in Kurukshetra district on Friday and inspected the reception room, Mahakav Srijan Room, ancient Mahabharata, Kuruvamshawali, Geeta Shloka, Krishna Bhukima, Dashava Avatar and other rooms in detail. During this, Geeta Manishi Giananand Maharaj was also present. Principal Secretary of Tourism Department, Mrs. Kala Ramachandran gave detailed information about the Jyotisar Experience Center.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the minor construction work of the Jyotisar Experience Center as well as other rooms. He said that all the pending construction works should be completed as soon as possible so that the Jyotisar Experience Center can be opened for tourists.
The Chief Minister, while giving instructions to make the Jyotisar Experience Center a place of world tourism, said that all the development works should be completed quickly so that tourists can see the history of Mahabharata and Kurukshetra in the Jyotisar Experience Center. Apart from this, the Chief Minister reached the Gita Gyan Sansthanam and spoke to Gita Manishi Swami Gyanananda.
After this, while talking to the media, the Chief Minister said that the objectives of the Gita were given from the holy land of Lord Shri Krishna. Keeping in mind the history of this sacred land, the government is taking up development works in Jyotisar at a fast pace.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the cultural heritage of the country has been strengthened. To preserve the cultural heritage of this country, the government is spending a budget of about Rs 250 crore on a project based on the Mahabharata theme in Jyotisar. This Jyotisar Geeta Sthal is being made the most visible historical place in the world.
Replying to a question, the Chief Minister said that he has appealed to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to come to Kurukshetra, if the Prime Minister accepts this appeal, it will be a historic moment for Kurukshetra. He said that instructions will also be given to the officials to reopen the Kalpana Chawla constellation for tourists soon.
This holy land is giving the world the message of doing karma with the teachings of the holy book Gita. Former Minister of State Mr. Subhash Sudha, OSD to the Chief Minister Mr. Bharat Bhushan Bharti, Director of Tourism Development Dr. Shaleen, Deputy Commissioner Neha Singh and other officials were present.
