Garhshankar- Tarksheel Society Punjab Unit Garhshankar organized a Tarksheel Family Meet dedicated to the 100th death anniversary of Ghadri Bibi Gulab Kaur under the leadership of Master Jagdish Raipur Dabba in collaboration with Zone Nawanshahr. Addressing this family meet held at Universal Public School Kullewal, Joginder Kullewal, Head of Cultural Department of Tarksheel Society Punjab, gave detailed information about the life struggle of Ghadri Bibi Gulab Kaur.

Addressing this family meet held at Universal Public School Kullewal, Joginder Kullewal, Head of Cultural Department of Tarksheel Society Punjab, gave detailed information about the life struggle of Ghadri Bibi Gulab Kaur.
He said that Bibi Gulab Kaur had an invaluable contribution to the strength of the Ghadar Party and to the success of its mission. Balwinder Kaur Saloh, Principal Kamaljit Kaur Kullewal and Ruby Banga presented their views and said that we need to give up the traditional rituals and customs on occasions of happiness and sorrow in our homes. Rational fairs should be held.
Sukhwinder Goga, Master Raj Kumar Garhshankar, Satpal Saloh, Master Jagdish and Mohan Bika said that we need to strengthen family ties by increasing the bond between our families and should spread rational ideology among family members. Madam Balbir Kaur Garhshankar, Rajkumari Langeri, Master Naresh Garhshankar, Master Raj Kumar Garhshankar, Babita Rani, Ninder Maiditta, Master Gurbaksh Lal and Master Hardeep Kumar said that family gatherings strengthen the bond between families and provide information about the working methods of the society.
Gurnam Hajipur, Sukhwinder Langeri, Harjinder Sunni, Jasvir Begampuri said that rational literature should be read as much as possible, knowledge cannot be gained without being connected to books. Progressive poems were presented by Balwinder Kaur Saloh, Kamaljit Kaur Saloh, daughter Namneet Kaur and Gurnam Hajipur. On this occasion, Baljinder Shahbaz Pur, Kulwinder Khatkar, Rasman Kanta, Paramjit Kaur Bika, Neelam Begumpur, Gurdev Bachhori, Balvir Kaur Bachhori, Babita etc. were present.
On this occasion, Balwinder Kaur, Vivek Kumar and Namneet students were honored with Tarksheel Sahitya for playing a supporting role in the seminars of the society.
