Una, July 28- A review meeting was held on Monday regarding Swachhta Mission under the chairmanship of Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti Division No. 1 Una, Puneet Sharma. In the meeting, the progress of the work being done for prevention of diarrhea, availability of safe drinking water and cleanliness was reviewed.
During this, Puneet Sharma said that under the “Stop Diarrhea 2025 Campaign” being run by the courtesy of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, serious efforts are being made for awareness and cleanliness activities in Una district. This campaign is being organized till July 31 with the cooperation of the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation. The public is being made aware by giving the message of “Clean Village – Pure Water – Better Tomorrow” through this program.
He said that under this campaign, the quality of drinking water was checked through FTK (Field Test Kit) in all the panchayats of the district and the cleaning of drinking water sources and water tanks was done by the departmental employees.
On this occasion, Assistant Engineer Akshay Kumar, Yashwant Singh from Mehtpur Sub-Division, lab staff, all block coordinators and other departmental officers and employees were present.
