Haryana to become hub of drone technology - Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.

Chandigarh, September 8 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that to realize Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by the year 2047, the state government has prepared a concrete outline of a developed Haryana. In this direction, the initiative is being taken to make Haryana a hub of drone technology, innovation and new technology.

Chandigarh, September 8 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that to realize Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by the year 2047, the state government has prepared a concrete outline of a developed Haryana. In this direction, the initiative is being taken to make Haryana a hub of drone technology, innovation and new technology.
The Chief Minister was addressing the convocation ceremony of drone pilots and technicians organized at Haryana Niwas today. On this occasion, he distributed certificates to 252 drone pilots and 136 drone technicians certified by the Civil Aviation Headquarters.
The Chief Minister said that this achievement is a big leap in drone technology of Haryana. The country's first Drone Manufacturing Technology Hub is being set up in village Sisai of Hisar district, which will be the largest hub in South Asia. This will provide modern facilities for manufacturing, repairing and training of drones. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the e-inauguration of 5 drones for the Army and Armed Forces and the Agriculture Drone Pavilion of AVPL International built in village Sisai. He said that the hardworking youth of Haryana are achieving new heights in drone technology. Out of 388 certified drone pilots and technicians, 53 are girls, who are setting an example of women empowerment. The Chief Minister said that schemes like NaMo Drone Didi and Kisan Drone launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi are strengthening the rural community and farmers. Drones are saving time and effort among farmers, along with increasing production and income.
He said that in the last 11 years, the progress of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has created a new identity in the world. India, which was ranked 11th in the world economy in 2014, is now at the fourth position and is moving towards reaching the third position soon. The Chief Minister congratulated all the pilots and technicians and said that they will bring glory to Haryana and the country in the coming times.
On this occasion, Industries and Commerce Minister Shri Rao Narbir Singh said that despite representing less than two percent of the total population of the country, Haryana has played a leading role in every field. Today's achievement in the field of drone technology will provide new momentum and energy to Haryana.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta, Advisor to the Department of External Cooperation Mr. Pawan Chaudhary, Mr. Deep Sihag of AVPL International, Dr. Preet Sandhu and retired Lieutenant General RK Anand along with many senior officials were present in the program.
