A case has been registered under various sections of the Anti-Narcotics Act after recovering 275 grams of heroin from a resident of Ward No. 11, Legeri Road, Mahilpur. Mahilpur police chief SI Baljinder Singh Malli said that the arrested person Kulwinder Singh alias Gogi was serving a 20-year sentence in a drug case. who was on parole from 02 August 2023 and came from District Jail Hoshiarpur. On which 4 cases of A/D 15-61-85 are also registered at different times in Thana Garhshankar. In this regard, more in-depth inquiries and investigations are ongoing.
